Environmental Protection Missouri

Young Professionals Board

The YPB plays an important role at Great Rivers through helping to educate the community about our services and raise funds to support our work.

Great Rivers seeks to provide meaningful engagement to YPB members by utilizing their unique skills – including financial planning, graphic design, project management and outreach.

Joining the YPB requires a commitment beyond that of a typical volunteer. Members meet regularly, and are asked to pledge 10 hours a month for a period of a year or more. This commitment may be met through meeting your chosen roles’ activities, and through individual projects for the Environmental Law Center as approved by staff.

The President of the YPB attends meetings of the Governing Board, provides reports on the committees’ activities, and provides the perspective of the YPB on environmental issues.

Board Roles include:

President
Vice President
Secretary
Committee Chairs and Members:
Events & Fundraising
Community Outreach
Marketing & Media
Board Membership & Development
